Recovery Timeline
Immediately After
Apply cold compress (10 min on, 10 min off). Avoid touching or rubbing the area. Stay upright — no lying flat for 4 hours.
First Two Days
Peak swelling and possible bruising. This is normal. Avoid alcohol, exercise, saunas, and hot showers. Sleep on your back with head slightly elevated.
First Week
Swelling subsides significantly. Bruising (if any) begins to fade. You can resume gentle exercise. Avoid facial massages and aggressive skincare.
Full Results
Filler has fully integrated and settled into its final position. This is when you and your injector assess whether touch-ups are needed.

Arnica Montana
Reduces bruising and swelling. Take orally (30C pellets) starting 2 days before treatment, or apply topical gel to surrounding areas (not directly on injection sites).
Supplement + TopicalBromelain
Pineapple enzyme with anti-inflammatory properties. Take 500mg 2x daily for 3-5 days post-procedure to reduce swelling.

Gel-based cold packs designed for facial use. Apply with a cloth barrier — never directly on skin. 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off.

Wedge pillow to keep your head elevated while sleeping. Reduces overnight swelling significantly during the first 3-5 nights.

Thins blood, increases bruising. Avoid 24-48 hours before and after.
Blood thinners increase bruising risk. Use paracetamol instead if needed.

Concerned about your results?
